Our People
The people who make up Diamond Rigging are the most important tool we have!!!

Office & Marketing
PatPat runs the office with efficiency. Her accounting and management knowledge from previous jobs has helped Diamond get better cost accounting of jobs. In today's business, you better know costs or you will not be around. When the health insurance carrier calls, Pat knows the answer. If it's about cargo insurance, Aflac, employee medical savings, liability, worker comp., etc. Pat has the answer right at hand. Pat is still learning how to deal with business details and the telemarketing to keep in touch with businesses and accounts payable and keeping the boss in line. I'm not sure which is the hardest to keep under control.
Michelle The Fortune 500 has nothing on Diamond's great people. Michelle was in the corporate government complaint section of a huge company. But Diamond brings a family atmosphere and attention to its jobs through follow up and responsive customer service via "Lead the Field". We use an all business approach to handle the aspects of a customer's job. And Michelle has dealt with large bureaucracies. Whatever details went awry at her old job, Michelle handled the work. And, she brings that professionalism to Diamond. Michelle and Diamond do not skip our duty. If a customer has a need, Diamond responds in a timely manner. First, find out facts. Next, fix the condition, and at the correct time discuss costs. You get up and running and not running around.
Sales
Tim M.Steady, thorough, insightful and knowledgable all describe Tim as sales at Diamond. With initial years being in the field and then jumping into sales, Tim knows how hard it is to control trucking customers, cranes and crews to make jobs move smoothly.
Planning prior to a job is more important than the first step at the job site. His planning and documentation of jobs leaves little error and thus your jobs go smoothly. The machinery is installed quickly and efficiently. Difficult jobs turn routine when planning covers the move from start to finish.
The customer wins when Diamond teams up to have a smoothly coordinated job.
Ken After 18 years in the field , installing everything under the sun, Ken has jumped into Sales. Again, the politics of the move is harder than the actual physics of moving the machine. The permits, the heavy haul, the managers and closing the sale swirl around to make getting the work performed seeming easy.
Ken has been around hundreds of MRI installs, million dollars sculptures moves, single machine moves and plant relocations. These All take the steady , calming hand, knowledge of pitfalls, customer relations, and just plain common sense to create a successfull machinery move .
Companies trust Ken because he cares about the people and the machinery. The very nature of the machine intrigues Ken to understand the complexity of the mechanics and make sure a job is set up correctly for the scope of work at hand.
Field Personnel

The Diamond edge of most jobs is not the equipment, not the trucking, not the tools… but OUR PEOPLE. WE know how to level, how to align, how to rig, how to move, and how to be politician. Diamond calculates the risks allowable before the equipment is moved. The front line Diamond Foreman makes the tough decisions on the job. Diamond men have worked together for years as a team. Diamond forges together cooperative crews of workers, not random employee.
RichConscientious about everything, high strung at times Rich always has your equipment at heart during moves.
Rich had been a dirt track racer and knows that good tools and smart thinking keeps us ahead of the field. Training with the industry's best movers, Rich has developed his own style to move about everything thrown at him. Whether big or small, Rich knows his trade. He brings quality and knowledge to the job everyday.
Rig it, load it, truck it, Rich has all the angles covered. Rich works for you!
Matt Steady as a rock describes this big man.
Mat is one of Diamond’s foremen A. 80,000# molding machine to a 100,000 # punch press all fall within his book of jobs performed, Mat is a job foreman that coordinates the trucking, the subcontracts, the men on the job to moved heavy or light, big or small machines in a timely and efficient manner. A good deal of his responsibilities are to anticipate the next four or five steps. This job site planning creates a work flow that means get the job done --one time down and efficiently.
DaveDave is a truck driver who is often used as a job foreman. His love is the road, but his safety record and attention to detail has been recognized by our customers as very reassuring.
Dave is smooth on controls as he used to run cranes up to 250 tons, a big time responsibility. Dave left cranes and came back to Diamond because of the family atmosphere. Everyone cares about each other. Everyone looks out for each other. Everyone takes care of your machines.
The Diamond family works smoothly and efficiently for your company.
DaveDave came to Diamond with his scheduling and coordinating knowledge.
All the in house trucking we do, and over-the-road work has put Dave's knowledge to the test. Diamond ships to 48 states, Canada and Mexico, and overseas containizing. You, the customer, have Dave jumping through hoops to schedule and coordinate and review loads coming and going. Dave has worked with that in the past and his knowledge is a great help.
ToddBeing a drop and hook truck driver has limits. Todd was looking for a steady, challenging and better company to work for.
Diamond offered 40 hours and overtime and a great working environment that leads to personal growth. Todd has learned more in 12 months with Diamond about loads, tie downs and safety than all the years with a common carrier. But Todd is an extremely safe driver and a good safe operator who will only get better with time. Todd is an efficient crew member and top driver. He looks to be around your jobs for years to come.
MikeAfter 25 years running a steel fab shop as the Plant Manager, Mike knows details. This trait makes a job go smoothly and customers happy that the Diamond team is on the job.
Steel can be cut and fit and torn apart and redone. Machinery moves are a one time event. Mike and Diamond crews want to move one machine at a time. Job done, out the door, and onto the next job. Mike gets all the ducks to line up in a row and does not allow us to slow down. Be ready, get the floor marked, Oil's drained if Mike runs your job. Places to see, things to do, on to the next job.
JasonJason drove tankers and box vans around the tight streets of the Chicago area, but the long hours, missed loads, and grouchy old customers all led him to a life change with Diamond.
Every day is different with Diamond, every job is different with Diamond. Same machine, different plant, different manager to deal with to make the job go smoothly. And Jason has learned it takes more than just down the road to be good at rigging. Center of gravity, pick points, frame shape, leveling, and you, the customer, all effect the job at hand.
The job is all about the coordinated effort of our customers and the Diamond crew to be on the same page. Get the job done.
JoseHustle is a middle name for this man. As we closed down a plant, Jose impressed the Diamond crews as to his desire to learn and dig right in. These traits are Diamond Rigging. We learn the scope of the work and dig right in to get the job done. Every Diamond employee hustles to get your job done on time. Diamond knows that customers give us a window of time to move machinery. Machine up time is precious. And in today's competitive, international business world, ALL manufacturing costs must be cost effective. That is why Diamond hustles for you, learns your needs, and in short, Diamond work for you.
RickFrom the roads of America , Rick brings to Diamond the experience of an over the road trucker that has seen a lot of rigging below the Diamond Standard. A promotion to Rigging foreman has Rick making a difference as to a job’s timing and coordination and jobsite people skills that count to get work performed. There is a huge jump up to the lead man in charge of the rigging of a customer’s new machine. And to date, Rick has walked the path with success to have taken good care of a customer’s investment to improve his business.
The safety of the people around the job, the safety of the machine being moved, and the timely and efficient work to make all of this happen is important. Expect dedication from Rick’s crew , Expect a conciensious effort at your shop from the Diamond Foreman, Rick. He works for you.
Matt O After several years bouncing around contractors, Matt has joined Diamond and brings machinery installation knowledge to the table. Several of the specialty trade schools boost Matt’s knowledge to assist Diamond with the leveling and alignment of customer’s equipment. And to help round out his character, Matt has a Truck Driver CDL . This way, Matt can drive to the job, offload the machines and level and align the machine components. The cross training of Diamond’s men means that any crew sent out can perform as a team and complete your job. Diamond works for you.
Caleb Youth leads to a multitude of jobs and skills that get picked up along one’s life cycle. Caleb started working on farms, went to municipal work, trucked trenchers around the midwest and finally has settled with Diamond. His trucking experience and common sense from raising horses on a farm show responsibility, and personal values beyond his years. Diamond then brings a focus on using these skills to take care of the machinery being moved. If we can keep him to only three Questions , everyone wins.
